# glasser runs get

> Get a Run, wait for completion, or save its output.

## Usage

```bash theme={null}
glasser runs get -r <runId>
```

Get run status and output.

Without `--wait`, this returns the current status, which can still be `QUEUED`
or `RUNNING`. With `--wait`, the CLI polls for a terminal status for up to
`--wait-timeout` seconds (a positive integer; default `300`). A wait timeout
exits `1` and does not stop the Run; you can repeat the same command to wait again.

`FAILED` and `STOPPED` Runs exit `1`. A `COMPLETED` Run exits `0`, even if the
Provider returned HTTP 4xx or 5xx. Check `provider_response.http_status` and
`charge_usd` as well as `status`.

## Flags

| Flag | Description |
| - | - |
| `--run-id, -r` | The Run id |
| `--wait, -w` | Poll until the Run is terminal |
| `--wait-timeout` | Seconds to wait before giving up (default 300; requires --wait) |
| `--output, -o` | Write the Run's output field to a file (COMPLETED with output only) |

See [CLI conventions](/docs/cli#global-flags) for global flags, JSON mode, exit codes, and environment variables.
