# Claude Chat & Cowork

> Connect Glasser to Claude on the web or desktop, including Cowork.

Open Claude on the web or in the desktop app. Use a custom web connector to connect your
Glasser account. For Claude Code, use the [Claude Code guide](/docs/mcp-server/claude-code).

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add a custom connector">
    Open **Customize → Connectors**, select **Add**, then **Add custom connector**.
    Some versions show **Custom → Web** instead.

    Enter `Glasser` for the name and this server URL:

    ```text theme={null}
    https://api.glasser.ai/mcp
    ```

    Select **Continue**, review the detected authentication settings, then select
    **Continue** again.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose browser sign-in">
    Under **Authentication**, select **Sign in now**. Under **OAuth client**, select
    **Register automatically**. Leave the OAuth Client ID and Secret empty.

    Select **Add**, then **Connect** if prompted. In the browser, sign in to Glasser, choose
    your Workspace, and select **Allow**. Create an account and Workspace if needed.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enable Glasser in the conversation">
    Start a new conversation or Cowork task, select **+ → Connectors**, and enable Glasser.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the connection">
    In that conversation or Cowork task, ask:

    ```text wrap theme={null}
    Use Glasser to check my available balance. Do not make any paid Runs.
    ```

    The agent should use Glasser's `balance` tool and return your balance. This check is free;
    a zero balance still means the connection works. If you need funds for a paid Run, add
    them in the [Glasser console](https://app.glasser.ai).
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Try your first request

```text wrap theme={null}
Use Glasser to find recent news about Stripe. Show me the data you can retrieve and the price, then wait for my approval before any paid Run.
```

After you approve, the agent can retrieve the data and report the result and charge.

## Team and Enterprise accounts

An Owner first adds the connector in **Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web**
with the same URL and authentication settings. Each member then opens **Customize → Connectors**,
selects **Connect** for Glasser, and signs in to their own Glasser account.

See [Claude's custom connector guide](https://support.claude.com/en/articles/11175166-get-started-with-custom-connectors-using-remote-mcp)
for current menus and account settings.
