Open VS Code with GitHub Copilot Chat available and signed in.
1

Add the server

Open the Command Palette with Cmd+Shift+P on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows or Linux. Run MCP: Add Server, choose an HTTP server, and enter:
Name it glasser. Choose Copilot Global to use it across projects, or .mcp.json to save it in this workspace. Older versions may offer a user-profile destination instead.
2

Start Glasser and sign in

Run MCP: List Servers from the Command Palette, select glasser, and start it. Review the server trust prompt and follow the browser sign-in prompt.Sign in to Glasser, choose your Workspace, and select Allow. Create an account and Workspace if needed.
3

Enable the tools in chat

Open Copilot Chat in Agent mode. Use Configure Tools in the chat input to check that Glasser’s tools are enabled.
4

Check the connection

In a new conversation, ask:
The agent should use Glasser’s balance tool and return your balance. This check is free; a zero balance still means the connection works. If you need funds for a paid Run, add them in the Glasser console.

Try your first request

After you approve, the agent can retrieve the data and report the result and charge. See the VS Code MCP documentation for server settings and troubleshooting.
