| Limits | Hobby: 5 concurrent browsers Direct Hobby allows 100 scrape requests/min; crawl submissions have a separate 20/min limit. | Embeddings v3: 8,192-token model context Glasser’s late-chunking operation shares that context across supplied texts; split larger corpora into batches. |
| Data fields | Markdown, HTML and page metadata Direct APIs also offer optional JSON and screenshots; the selected Glasser scrape is basic content capture. | Reader text; embedding vectors; relevance scores Reader takes a URL. Embeddings and Rerank take supplied content and do not fetch that URL for you. |
| Collection & context controls | Known URLs, site paths and crawl depth Collect a site corpus; use cache controls when freshness matters. | Model, task and relevance inputs The selected Glasser embedding operation fixes v3 and late_chunking=true; use Rerank for query-based ordering. |
| Execution & Reliability | Direct scrape is synchronous; crawl is asynchronous Scrape timeout is configurable; monitor crawl status and page errors before treating a corpus as complete. | Selected model APIs return in the request Oversized shared-context inputs are rejected. Set a client deadline and handle token/rate-limit errors before retrying. |
| Glasser access | Basic Scrape, Search, Crawl and Map The selected Glasser scrape produces Markdown/HTML; advanced formats need a supporting operation. | Embeddings and Rerank through Glasser Reader and Search are product capabilities with separate access; they are not currently connected to Glasser. |

Use Firecrawl to turn known URLs or linked documentation pages into Markdown and HTML.
Use the Jina model APIs on Glasser to embed supplied text or reorder candidate passages for a query.
Capture pages with Firecrawl, split them to fit the model context, then use Jina embeddings to prepare vectors for your own search index.
Access both providers with one Glasser key.
Use one shared balance for both providers.
Pay per use, with no Glasser subscription.
Connect your agent via Skill, MCP or CLI.
Glasser currently connects Jina Embeddings and Rerank. Jina Reader and Search remain separate product capabilities. Use Firecrawl on Glasser for page capture, then send the resulting text to a supported Jina model operation.
No. The selected Jina endpoint expects supplied text and returns vectors. Firecrawl can capture the page first; your application still manages chunking, storage and retrieval. Rerank scores candidate documents you supply.
Yes, for their connected operations. Use Firecrawl to capture documentation, split the text to fit the shared model context, then use Jina Embeddings v3 to prepare vectors. Jina Reader is not connected to Glasser. Your agent coordinates the requests using one Glasser key and shared balance.
A tool-using agent can discover endpoints, inspect their inputs and prices, and select an operation for your task. Specify whether you need page capture, embedding vectors or relevance scores. Ask for approval before paid calls; Glasser does not make that routing decision for the agent.
Search and Inspect are free. Ask your agent to estimate the planned batch, inspect the charge rules and wait for approval before running it. Keep batches small and review final charges; failures can be billable under the endpoint’s rules. The comparison excludes free allowances and does not promise lower unit prices.
Use the Glasser Skill and CLI with local coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex. ChatGPT can connect through the Glasser MCP integration. Follow the setup guide for your client, then inspect the selected operation before making a paid call.
