Get Public Company Facts (Sector, Industry, Exchange) by Stock Ticker or CIK (Financial Datasets)
Get the reference facts of one listed company by stock ticker or CIK (at least one): name, CIK, ticker, sector, industry, SIC code with its SIC sector and industry, exchange, location, whether it is still active, and a link to its SEC filings. One company per call; a ticker or CIK outside the covered companies returns no result.

How to run it
Two fields identify it: the Provider and the endpoint key. The key looks like a path because it usually mirrors the Provider's own, but it is an opaque identifier — not a URL you can open. The same provider:endpoint pair is what your Policy lists.
