Clean a Messy Location String into One Canonical Place Record (PDL)
Clean one loosely written place name into the standard PDL place record: canonical name, locality, region, metro, subregion, country, continent, place type and latitude and longitude. Free of charge; a place that cannot be resolved is a miss. One place per call, and two spellings of the same place resolve to the same record — that is how a list of places is deduplicated.

How to run it
Two fields identify it: the Provider and the endpoint key. The key looks like a path because it usually mirrors the Provider's own, but it is an opaque identifier — not a URL you can open. The same provider:endpoint pair is what your Policy lists.
