Search 8-K Events: Auditor Changes, Restatements and Executive Departures (SEC API)
Search structured 8-K event data with a Lucene-style query over named fields such as item4_01 (change of auditor), item4_02 (non-reliance on prior financial statements, i.e. a restatement), item5_02 (director or officer departure or appointment) and filedAt; item4_02:* matches every 8-K that reports that item. Each filing returns the company and the structured details of its event. Up to 50 filings per page (default 10) with a from offset, sorted by filedAt.

How to run it
Two fields identify it: the Provider and the endpoint key. The key looks like a path because it usually mirrors the Provider's own, but it is an opaque identifier — not a URL you can open. The same provider:endpoint pair is what your Policy lists.
Once: paste this into your agent's chat. The Skill installs the CLI and logs in by itself. For an agent that cannot use a shell, connect it over MCP instead.
